While we had snow a couple more times at the beginning of the week...
Today was gorgeous and most everything had melted. Yesterday we did a little Easter egg dying....
We had our own little Easter egg hunt in the backyard. S insisted on wearing her blue feetie pjs and blue bunny ears, and that we call her “the Blueberry Bunny.”

J was very worried about not being able to find his fair share of eggs, but I think he got sufficiently over-sugared this weekend.
AJ thought the eggs were new balls, so he was in heaven. When he discovered the CANDY inside each new ball, he reached his own personal nirvana.
The kids have been wanting live baby chicks in a desperate sort of way. I’m afraid with all the predators in and around our yard that we’d just be setting the foxes up with a snack and the kids up for a tragedy. To ease their yearnings, in their Easter baskets, they each received little fuzzy toy chicks which chirp when placed in a small sweaty hand. They love them and are so cute with them.
AJ loved his so much he sneaked it outside with him and did what he does with all his most prized possessions, he tossed it in a bucket of rainwater. M fished it out, but the poor little thing cheeped non-stop for hours. Finally we took as much of it apart as we could and let it dry over night and I’m glad to report, it’s better now.
Yeah, AJ is crazy about his new tie and didn't want it hiding inside his sweater.

M got home early from church so we had a nice pretty normal non-bishop-family-like Sunday. M even got a long nap! Tomorrow we get to keep the weekend going and everybody has another day off of school. Woot Woo! Hope you each have something to look forward to this week too!

They are seriously so darling! Looks like a perfectly wonderful day.
Jacob was home a little early also and I thought we were going to have a non-bishop Easter, but then Ben got sick, and Jacob took the kids to Easter dinner with our friends while I stayed home. Awesomeness. :)
