Last Monday night the kids and I went downtown to the art museum and spent almost 2 hours checking out books from the Sketchbook Project’s traveling library. You might remember that I submitted a
sketchbook to this project 2 summers ago, but that year's tour didn’t make it anywhere near here. I did have some friends in the DC area (yeah Joneses; you rock!!) who got to checked out my sketchbook, and if any of you ever visit NYC, it’s part of the permanent collection at the Brooklyn Art Library!
Here are a couple of the fabulous sketchbooks that we viewed.
I was in heaven but eventually the kids reminded me that it was past their bedtime and on a school night too, so we had to leave. Here's hoping we get a chance to see this again!
