new yard art

One of the accursed, neighborhood deer killed one of our small deciduous trees by stripping the bark off when it was trying to rub the felt off its antlers. When I got done whining about the stupid deer, I decided the tree was going to become our first yard art instillation.

The kids and I got in our paint clothes, hauled the acrylic craft paints out, and had a blast painting it all kinds of wild colors.
I like it.
It’s cheerful to look at out there and see its goofiness.
It’s also a great entry feature to the little nook that we call FairyKingdom.

We haven’t settled on what it is called yet, the Graffiti Tree? Rainbow Roots? Walter?  Any suggestions?
