Easter egg holders

We had another art class! I seriously think, I look forward to these more than the kids do. I happened across this site called Krokotak, which may or may not be Bulgarian for "1001 crafty things to do with toilet paper tubes".  SO MANY fun ideas.

Anywho, following Krokotak's photos, I folded & cut toilet paper tubes to make little chickens that the kids painted and we can use as Easter egg holders. We also painted some 3D flowers cut from egg cartons, but I don’t have any photos of those yet.  Painting in 3 dimensions is just plain fun and messy!  What's not to love?

I love that AJ always sticks his tongue out when he's concentrating!
