TWO snow days!!

So spring has sprung in our neck of the woods....AND that means it's snowing. We had 2, yes two, snow days this week; complete with no school or work for anyone!!! We set a local all time record of 2 feet of snowfall in 24 hours.

We enjoyed ourselves immensely We made maple snow candy, yummmm!

We built a huge frost dragon snow sculpture in the back.

S made a "snowman version of Daddy" (with a huge schnoz).

M shoveled all the snow off our front patio into one huge pile and they dug an igloo into it.

Then M went to dig out some of the elderly in our congregation. We are somewhat sheltered from wind on our little forest, but he said the drifts on most of the driveways he worked on were 3 feet and higher!!! While he was gone a dozen of our neighbors wondered into the yard and started licking our snow dragon...maybe they liked the salt from our hands?
