skiing

Saturday morning we all woke up super early, and drove up to meet some friends at TerryPeaks, one of the two ski resorts here in the Black Hills.  S and J got into their first ski lessons and had a blast.  

While they were in lessons, M snowboarded with some friends, and AJ & I puttered around with some friends his age on sleds.  S couldn’t be stopped.  She went up and down the bunny hill for HOURS!  M took her up the lift once, but she didn’t like it as well as the “magic carpet” (like a people conveyor belt) on the bunny hill.  Our friends had some itty bitty skis that AJ was frantic to try.  M took him down the bunny hill once.  

He made it about halfway  down before he decided he did NOT want to ski, but he was in seventh heaven riding on M’s board down the rest of the hill.  

In the evening we hung out at a nearby cabin our friends had rented.  It was a pretty fun day!
